ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Courtney Hardwick and I’m passionate about using communications as a tool for organising and building collective power to drive real change.
My work combines strategy, creativity, and storytelling to mobilise communities, shape public debate, and hold power to account.
My approach is informed by a practical understanding of the political and industrial landscape, shaping communications that are targeted and effective.
VIDEO
In today’s fast-paced media landscape, short-form video is one of the most effective ways to connect with audiences. I produce content that cuts through noise, supports campaign goals, and drives real engagement.
STATIC SOCIAL MEDIA
Static content remains essential in a strong communications mix. I develop copy and captions that inform, engage, and entertain to connect with audiences and support campaign goals.

"We're being given a choice between a government that is committed to improving the rights and wages of workers, and one that is committed to serving the interests of big business and billionaires. Choose carefully."

"The NSW Government has let workers down. Though they’ve since backed down on some measures, they’re still planning to dramatically hike the whole person impairment threshold from 15% to 31%, and in doing so, make nearly all workers suffering legitimate psychological injures ineligible for support. It’s true the system needs reform, but rushing through these cuts won’t fix anything; it will only hurt workers when they need help most. People will die if they can’t get the support they need and deserve. Hunter MPs pledged to support injured workers. We now call on them to stand up and speak out against the reforms. Please take 30 seconds to send a pre-written email to your MP demanding them to stick to their pledge. Link in bio."

"Peter Dutton has only one clear, detailed plan: to help his billionaire and big business mates who are funding his campaign."

"In an abhorrent article in the SMH, big business shill Paul O’Halloran had the audacity to baselessly claim “slack” workers will “exploit” the soon new right to disconnect. Reality check, Paul: Bosses are exploiting workers. 71% of worker have been forced to work outside their scheduled working hours, leading to increased tiredness, stress, anxiety, and disrupted personal lives. It’s safe to say big business aren’t happy about losing the free labour. Peter Dutton has vowed to repeal the right to disconnect if the Coalition wins the next election. Workers will finally have the right to decline unreasonable calls and emails outside workings hours next month, thanks to the union movement. #JoinYourUnion"
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Good design captures attention and turns messages into momentum. I focus on creating work that’s purposeful and visually cohesive to support messaging and help campaigns connect.

COPYWRITING
Writing is central to effective communications. I have extensive experience producing copy across a wide range of formats including media releases, opinion editorials, Senate Inquiry submissions, and more. My work focuses on clarity, impact, and purpose, shaping messages that inform, persuade, and drive action.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography shapes how stories are seen and remembered. I use it to bring issues into focus and add depth and authenticity to communications.
